Automotive R&D works with Design, Construction, Testing, Simulation and Production support, focusing on the international automotive industry. We are a complete supplier in the sector and our range includes both complete measures in complex automotive development projects, consultancy services and expert support in pilot studies, design, estimations, prototypes and testing & verification.
From our start we have worked with some of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers and their suppliers. We know what demands are placed and we understand technology – our aim is to be the best at what we do.

Degree work, apprenticeships and internships
Every year we are privileged to work with a number of degree students. Do you want to do your degree work at Semcon Automotive R&D? In that case send us your CV and a personal letter and you might be chosen to contribute to any of our many projects with your expertise and enthusiasm.  
There are three ways in which we accept applications from degree students:
1. In our job databse you find current vacancies for degree work / Diploma / Master Theses where you as a candidate and applicant can easily see if the opening fits your profile.  
2. You provide proposals for degree work / Diploma / Master Theses that you want to do with us via direct contact with our recruitment department. 
3. You propose one or more areas you would personally like to do your degree work / Diploma / Master Theses in and give us a project description of what you want to do.  
Our respective departments make decisions about your application, and you are then contacted as soon as possible with information about how we will continue with your application.

Apprenticeships in Germany 
Invest in your future – with an apprenticeship at Semcon Germany. We provide training in the technical and commercial fields, for instance as design draftsman, model maker or motor mechanic.

If you are attending one of the State Colleges of Advanced Vocational Studies (“Berufsakademie”) and would like to combine study and practice, then we’re the right people to see. Particularly in the area of Mechanical Engineering, Semcon Germany offers a wide range of opportunities.

Internships in Germany
An internship at Semcon Germany affords you the opportunity of working in a dedicated team for a period of 4-6 months, tackling projects on your own and gaining valuable practical experience. Semcon Germany offers interesting assignments for the courses of study Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, Aerospace Engineering and others.

Internship in Sweden
We start our practical placement period 2-3 times a year where student trainees get both an insight into, and experience of, working in project groups. The practical placement periods lasting 8-12 weeks give you the opportunity of getting invaluable experience from working life.
